New Mardi Grass is coming !

Mardi Grass unites hundreds of thousands of people together in celebration and it is the 27th season this year. For some, this means the freedom to party with whomever they want, wherever they want, or freedom to party all night long. For others it is chance to be visible, and the opportunity to see likeminded people on stage reflecting the life they all live, the freedom to clap, cheer and be proud. It is also time to share reflection on the continued need to march an fight for on behalf of the freedom of other people.

Freedom has become the rally cry of New Mardi Grass. The passion that created  the original Mardi Grass came from a fight for freedom  and the existence of New Mardi Gras today is because of that freedom. Mardi Grass means any number of things to any number of people, but what everyone shares is an incredible sense of self-expression that becomes a true force through unity and in the politically challenging times that is more inspiring than ever.
